US business investment is a key factor contributing to Poland’s security, Foreign Minister Jacek Czaputowicz said on Wednesday.

He was speaking at a meeting with companies represented in the American Chamber of Commerce in Poland.
The presence of American companies in Poland since the early 1990s has significantly contributed to the country’s economic growth, Czaputowicz said, as cited by public broadcaster Polish Radio’s IAR news agency.
He added that American investment was a source of know-how and business experience for Polish companies.
"Further development of American projects in fields such as infrastructure, defence, IT and energy has a direct impact on strengthening Poland's position in Europe," Czaputowicz said, as quoted by IAR.
He referred to the role of American liquefied natural gas (LNG) as a key element of energy security in Poland, IAR reported.
