Poland’s presence in the annual summit, the largest event of its kind in America and one of the largest worldwide, will increase considerably compared with last year, Wojciech Fedko, deputy head of the Polish Investment and Trade Agency, said on Thursday.

Four Polish companies took part in last year’s Select USA summit, which is organised by the US Department of Commerce, according to Fedko.

This year’s event will be held from June 20 to 22, aiming to promote foreign direct investment in the United States, public broadcaster Polish Radio’s IAR news agency reported.

The Polish Investment and Trade Agency earlier this week announced a plan to open dozens of new offices around the world in an effort to promote Polish products and companies abroad.
