The Polish business mission to Israel, led by Enterprise and Technology Minister Jadwiga Emilewicz, includes executives from companies active in sectors such as IT, finance and space technology, in addition to cosmetics, food and chemicals, according to reports.
A dozen or so Polish start-up businesses were gearing up to take part in the event, public broadcaster Polish Radio’s IAR news agency reported.
On Monday, the Polish Investment and Trade Agency opened an office in Tel Aviv, according to IAR.
While in Israel, Polish officials are expected to sign several business contracts, including an agreement between the Polish Investment and Trade Agency and the Federation of Israeli Chambers of Commerce, and a deal between Poland’s state-run airline LOT and Israeli air carrier El Al.
In another team-up, Poland’s Bank Gospodarstwa Krajowego is scheduled to sign a letter of intent with a leading Israeli business incubator, IAR reported.
