Polish economy grew 5.1% in Q2 2018: flash estimate

The Polish economy grew 5.1 percent in the second quarter of this year, the country’s Central Statistical Office (GUS) said in a flash estimate on Tuesday.

The reading was in line with analysts' expectations.
Polish GDP grew 5.2 percent in the first quarter of 2018, according to the Central Statistical Office.
Poland's economy grew 4.9 percent in the final quarter of 2017 and expanded by 4.6 percent in 2017 as a whole.
Investment and Development Minister Jerzy Kwieciński said in May that Poland was capable of maintaining economic growth of between 4 and 5 percent.
