LOT will start flying to Miami on June 1 and the new route will be initially operated four times a week by Boeing 787 Dreamliner jets.
The new service is expected to appeal to both business and leisure travellers.
Nearly half a million Polish Americans live in the US state of Florida, public broadcaster Polish Radio’s IAR news agency reported.
The Polish air carrier in April ordered three new 294-seater Boeing 787-9 Dreamliner jets as part of an expansion drive, according to reports.
The new planes are expected to enable the carrier to increase the number of long-haul flights to the United States and Asia.
LOT said last year it aimed to transport up to 10 million passengers in 2018, up from 6.8 million in 2017.
