Soaring number of work permits issued in Poland

Around 235,600 work permits were issued in Poland in 2017, nearly twice as many as the year before, a Polish daily has reported.

In 2012, around 39,100 work permits were issued to foreign workers in the country, the Rzeczpospolita daily reported.
An increasing number of permits are being issued in all of Poland's provinces, according to the daily.
Most of the documents are granted to Ukrainian nationals.
