More Poles using mobile banking apps: report

The number of Poles actively using mobile banking applications shot up, according to a report.

At the end of the second quarter, 7.24 million Poles were active users of such apps, up from 6.27 million at the end of March this year, according to a report by Netbank.
The figures were presented at a Polish Bank Association conference on Monday.
Poland is among the countries that are implementing modern payment methods the fastest, Włodzimierz Kiciński, vice-president of the bank association, was quoted by state news agency PAP as saying.
