Polish 2017 GDP growth rate revised up to 4.8%

The Polish economy grew 4.8 percent in 2017, the country’s Central Statistical Office (GUS) said on Wednesday, revising upward its previous estimate of 4.6 percent.

The statistics office in April reported that the Polish economy grew 4.6 percent last year and that it expanded by 4.9 percent in the final quarter of 2017.
The office said in late August that the Polish economy grew 5.1 percent in the second quarter of this year.
Polish GDP grew 5.2 percent in the first quarter of 2018, according to the office.
