The survey for Randstad Polska found that the main reason Poles gave for changing jobs was the opportunity for professional development rather than more money.

Almost nine in ten workers said they could easily find different work.

According to the study, it takes employees in Poland around two months on average to find a new job.

The average Polish monthly wage in November was PLN 4,966 (EUR 1,158, USD 1,317), the country’s Central Statistical Office has said.

Average pay in Poland rose 7.7 percent in November compared with the same month last year, the office added.

Unemployment in Poland stood at 5.9 percent in December, the country’s labour ministry said earlier this month.
