In the National Bank of Poland’s latest Survey of Professional Forecasters, released on Thursday, experts said they expected GDP growth to weaken to between 2.9 percent and 4.1 percent in 2020.

They forecast that growth would further slow in 2021 to between 2.4 percent and 3.8 percent.

In its latest World Economic Outlook report, published on Tuesday, the International Monetary Fund (IMF) forecast the Polish economy would grow 3.8 percent this year.

According to the IMF, Polish GDP growth this year is set to be the highest in the region.

Meanwhile, the World Bank said last week it expected Polish economic growth to slow to 4 percent this year from over 5 percent in 2018.
