Polish rail vehicle manufacturer Pesa has said it will deliver 10 trams to the Ukrainian capital later this year.

A Pesa spokesman said that the company had already delivered 47 trams to Kiev’s public transportation company under an earlier contract, and that other Ukrainian cities had also expressed an interest in buying trams.
The company said it would also supply suburban trains to Belarus in May.
