Polish unemployment drops to 5.9% in March: stats office

Unemployment in Poland dropped to 5.9 percent in March from 6.1 percent in February, the country’s Central Statistical Office has said.

The reading was in line with what analysts had expected and with figures announced by Poland’s labour minister earlier this month.
The state-run Central Statistical Office said there were 984,700 jobless registered in employment offices in March, down from 1,016,700 in February.
