Majority of Poles 'satisfied' with President

According to a new survey, 59 percent of Poles have a positive opinion of the role of Polish President Bronisław Komorowski, while 50 percent are dissatisfied with the work done by Prime Minister Ewa Kopacz.

Data by pollster TNS Polska shows that 31 percent indicated they are disappointed with the work of the presidential chancellery, while a similar figure expressed a positive sentiment towards the office of the Prime Minister.

A mere 24 percent of Poles have a positive opinion of the Civic-Platform led government.

The opinions of all three institutions: the President, Prime Minister and Government deteriorated in January, TNS Polska data showed.

The poll was conducted on a group of 1,000 individuals aged 15 and over. (rg)
