Poland 2nd in team event at ski jump World Cup

Poland's ski jumping squad has come second in the men's team event at the World Cup tournament in Zakopane, southern Poland.

Piotr Żyła, Maciej Kot, Dawid Kubacki and Kamil Stoch gained a combined total of 1111.2 points.

Germany came in first with 1116.3 points and Slovenia came third with 1102.7 points.

The contest in Zakopane was the second team event in the 2016/17 season. The first, on 3 December in Klingenthal, Germany, was won by the Polish team. (vb/pk)
