BALANCE :: World EXPO 2015 to attract 20 mln visitors

150 countries, Poland among them, are participating in the event whose theme is "Feeding the Planet, Energy for Life".
The Polish Pavillion at EXPO 2015 will be the 4th largest measuring over 2000 sq meters and 2 levels with the main theme of the event expressed through Polish apples.
The Polish Day at EXPO 2015 is set for September 13th. Polish presence at EXPO 2015 in Milan will also include Polish Tourism Week - organised in cooperation with the Polish Tourist Organisation and scheduled for mid-May , Polish Science Day and a series of b2b economic meetings. Poland is a giant in food production that needs discovering - despite the criticism that it may be portrayed as less cool being rural than innovative etc.
All in all, the Polish presence in Milan will feature almost 90 accompanyign events and 9 regional weeks. „Appetite for Poland” a unique cookbook has also been preparedshowing how Polish cuisine has changed in recent years to become lighter, more varied, colourful and modern.
This will be the second time Milan hosts the event, the first being the Milan International of 1906.
