BALANCE :: The 'good change' and the economy

The Law and Justice party came to power under the slogan that Poland needed 'a good change.' A cornerstone of its electoral campaign was a child benefit initiative aimed at raising Poland's birthrate. During the first six months the government also announced plans to invest 1 trillion zloty into manufacturing and innovation.

- Polish enterprises have so been been rather unable to take advantage of the investment boom Saudi Arabia is currently going through although it is Poland’s second largest trade partner in the Arabian Peninsula.
