The 26 year-old Tola added the Warsaw Marathon to the bronze medal he won at the Moscow-hosted World Track and Field Athletics Championships last year.

The second edition of the Orlen Marathon in the Polish capital brought together an international group of accomplished runners, including last year's winner Kasaye Sisay Lemma, also from Ethiopia and the fastest European at the London Summer Olympics, Henryk Szost from Poland.
