Monday's friendly against MSV Duisberg may not have been the most critical of the 25-year-old's career, but his goal was a reassuring sign for his new team-mates.

Lewandowski found the back of the net thirty minutes into the match, and the game finished with a 1-1 draw.

The Polish striker's four-year record at Borussia Dortmund made him one of the most envied forwards in the Bundesliga.

He was the top scorer in the Bundesliga for the 2013-14 season, managing 20 goals.

He also helped win the 2013 DFL-Supercup, in which Borussia defeated his new side Bayern Munich 4-2.

Lewandowski signed a five-year contract with the Munich side in January 2014. (nh)
