Radovic, who has been Legia’s leading goal scorer since 2006, told a Serbian online news site dnevno.rs that he will be leaving for China “within two days”. The Thursday match against Ajax Amsterdam will be his last with the club.

Legia has agreed a EUR 1.5 million transfer fee with Hebei China Fortune, a lower-division team with a wealthy sponsor and aspirations to advance rapidly to the top of Chinese football.

The 31-year-old striker will be making roughly EUR 1.5 million a year, six times his salary at Legia. Last year he extended his contract with Poland’s most popular club to June 2018 with an option to stay on as a coach or scout. (an)
