It was a good game,'' victorious coach Andrei Nazarov commented after the match.

''We were a little bit lucky but we accept the luck and are happy,” Kazakhstan head coach Andrei Nazarov said.

The Kazakhs were already leading Division 1A prior to Thursday's match.

Poland now needs a regulation-time win against Hungary to be promoted from the six-side group as runner-up alongside Kazakhstan.

Hungary is currently in second place with 9 points, while Poland has 6.

The decisive match will be held at the Kraków Arena on Saturday at 8pm local time. (nh)
