Although Monday's match was no walkover, Radwańska has not dropped a single set in the tournament thus far.

Her apparent return to form comes after what has been a disappointing season in which the 26-year-old Pole dropped out of the WTA top ten for the first time in four years (she is currently ranked No. 13 by WTA).

She has told WTA's official portal that practice on grass courts has proved an enormous help - the week before Wimbledon she made the final of England's Eastbourne tournament.

Everything is just easier for me now that I'm back on the grass,” Radwańska has said.

I'm starting to feel the confidence again now.”

The Kraków-born star will face American Madison Keys (WTA ranking No. 21) on Tuesday in the quarter-finals. (nh)
