Lewandowski's Guinness World Records are for Fastest Bundesliga hat-trick (3 minutes 22 seconds), Fastest Four Goals in a Bundesliga Match (5 minutes 42 seconds), Fastest Five Goals Scored in a Bundesliga Match (8 minutes 59 seconds), Most Goals Scored by a Substitute in a Bundesliga Match (5 goals).

He had not even been due to play in the match on 22 September, as he was recovering from an injury.

However, at half time, the Munich side had still not scored a goal, leading coach Pep Guardiola to try his golden striker.

The 27-year-old didn't take long to prove his mettle, leaving Wolfsburg goalie Diego Benaglio wondering what had hit him.
