The Polish Handball Federation is looking for a new coach to take over the national squad after Michael Biegler quit following Poland’s failure to advance to the European men's championship semi-finals.

Talant Dujshebaev, a Spaniard who recently terminated his contract with the Hungarian national squad, and Piotr Przybecki, the coach of Polish club Śląsk Wrocław, have been named by the media as potential candidates to replace Biegler.
Sport.pl, one of Poland’s biggest sport websites, called Dujshebaev an “outstanding” candidate.
Przegląd Sportowy, Poland’s biggest and oldest sports daily, published an interview with Dujshebaev on its website, in which he said that he is determined to train the Polish national team.
Biegler started with the Polish team in the autumn of 2012, steering the squad to bronze in the 2015 world championships in Quatar. (tf/pk)
