Poland’s Krystyna Guzik third in biathlon sprint

Poland’s Krystyna Guzik has taken third place in the 7.5 km sprint event at the biathlon World Cup in Presque Isle in the US.

It was the second time Guzik took a place on the podium this season and the fourth time in her career.
The US event was won by Czech Gabriela Soukalova, who added to her lead in the World Cup total score.
Soukalova was 17.8 seconds ahead of America’s Susan Dunklee, and 19.1 seconds ahead of Guzik. (pk)
