Polish tennis star Agnieszka Radwańska came back from 2-5 down in the final set of her second round clash with Dominika Cibulkova at the BNP Paribas Open in Indian Wells, winning the match 6-3, 3-6, 7-5.

The current World No.3 had been given a bye straight into the second round, but despite winning the first set, it very nearly unravelled for Radwańska, with No.57 Cibulkova taking the second set then coming within a whisker of the third.

Yet despite having match point against her, the Kraków-born ace managed to turn the tables.

Playing Dominika in the second round - my first match - is obviously the toughest draw I could have,” she said after the match.

She doesn't have the ranking she should - she's definitely a Top 20 player - and I'm so happy I could come back in that third set and win the match.”

Radwańska will now face Romanian Monica Niculescu (WTA No. 34) in the third round. (nh)
