Tennis: Polish star Radwańska into Stuttgart quarter-finals

Polish tennis star Agnieszka Radwańska has beaten Germany’s Andrea Petkovic 1: 6, 6: 1, 6: 2 to advance to the quarter-finals of the WTA tournament in Stuttgart, Germany.

Radwańska, who is currently world No.2 in the WTA rankings, started poorly, making a string of unforced errors and losing the first set in Thursday’s match.

But she stepped up a gear and dominated the next two sets. It was her seventh match and seventh win against Petkovic. (pk)
