Coach Nawałka announces final Euro 2016 squad

Adam Nawałka, the coach of Poland's national football team, has announced the lineup for the upcoming Euro 2016 tournament in France.

The 23-strong squad will include goalkeepers Artur Boruc, Łukasz Fabiański and Wojciech Szczęsny, Nawałka announced at a conference in Arłamów, southern Poland, on Monday evening.
The lineup will feature defenders Thiago Cionek, Kamil Glik, Artur Jędrzejczyk, Michał Pazdan, Łukasz Piszczek, Bartosz Salamon and Jakub Wawrzyniak.
Nawałka also selected midfielders Jakub Błaszczykowski, Kamil Grosicki, Tomasz Jodłowiec, Bartosz Kapustka, Grzegorz Krychowiak, Karol Linetty, Krzysztof Mączyński, Sławomi Peszko, Filip Starzyński and Piotr Zieliński.
Forwards Robert Lewandowski, Arkadiusz Milik and Mariusz Stępiński also made the squad.
Goalkeeper Przemysław Tytoń, defender Paweł Dawidowicz and forward Artur Sobiech have been left out. Meanwhile, Maciej Rybus and Paweł Wszołek were earlier ruled out due to injuries sustained ahead of the championship.
Poland will face Germany, Northern Ireland and Ukraine in the group stage of the Euro 2016 tournament, which kicks off on 10 June and runs until 10 July.
The Polish squad's first fixture is against Northern Ireland in Nice on 12 June. (aba/pk)
