Volleyball: Poland beat Japan in Olympic qualifiers

Poland’s national volleyball has beaten Japan 3: 0 in Tokyo, moving closer to qualifying for the Rio Olympics.

Poland are the only undefeated team so far in the Tokyo qualifying tournament for the games in Rio de Janeiro, and are top of the league table.
In previous matches, Poland beat Canada and France, winning both matches 3: 2.
Eight teams are battling it out in Japan for a place at the Olympics. The three top squads plus the best team from Asia will qualify.
Poland will now take on China, Venezuela, Iran and Australia. (pk)
