Poland’s Agnieszka Radwańska on Wednesday beat Canada’s Eugenie Bouchard 6:3, 6:3 to make it into the quarter-finals of the Eastbourne international grass-court tournament in Britain.

The Polish star, ranked no. 3 in the world, will now take on Slovakia’s Dominika Cibulkova, who beat Ukraine’s Kateryna Bondarenko 7:6, 6:3.
On Tuesday, Radwańska advanced to the final 16 when her opponent, Croatia’s Mirjana Lucic-Baroni, pulled out their second-round encounter after complaining of stomach problems. (pk)
