The Polish pair beat Italian Fabio Fognini and Spaniard Fernando Verdasco 7: 5, 6: 4.
The Poles will now take on either Frenchmen Pierre-Hugues Herbert and Nicolas Mahut or Frenchman Adrian Mannarino and Canadian Adil Shamasdin.
Janowicz is competing in a Grand Slam doubles tournament for the eighth time.
He crashed out of the men's singles at the Australian Open on Monday after losing to Croatia’s Marin Cilic in the first round.
