The winner of Saturday's contest was Austria’s Stefan Kraft, followed by Germany’s Andreas Wellinger.

Stoch managed to outperform many of his most serious rivals in the general classification, however, and increased his lead over them.

Norway’s Daniel-Andre Tande, the runner-up in the general classification, was fourth at Oberstdorf and is now 135 points behind Stoch.

The third in the general classification, Slovenian Domen Prevc, was fifth on Saturday and trails Stoch by 207 points. Fourth in the general classification, Stefan Kraft, is now 218 points behind Soch.
