Tennis: Poland’s Radwańska beaten in Doha

Polish tennis star Agnieszka Radwańska has crashed out of the WTA tennis tournament in Doha.

Radwańska lost Thursday’s second-round match 5:7, 3:6 against Denmark’s Caroline Wozniacki, who is of Polish origin.
The match lasted an hour and 40 minutes. The encounter was due to take place on Wednesday, but was postponed because of rain.
The match was the 16th to pit Radwańska against Wozniacki. The Dane, 18th in the world ranking, has won ten of them.
Radwańska, ranked 12 positions higher, came out on top in their two previous confrontations.
The Pole had a bye into the first round in Doha, while Wozniacki beat Dutch player Kiki Bertens 6:2, 6:3.
