Ski jumping: Polish team wins gold in Lahti

The Polish ski-jumping team on Saturday won the gold medal at the World Championships in Lahti, Finland, beating Norway and Austria.

The Polish team of Piotr Żyła, Dawid Kubacki, Maciej Kot and Kamil Stoch took home the top prize in the team event at the 2017 World Ski Championships.

The Poles earned a total of 1,104.2 points, beating defending champions Norway with 1,078.5 points.

The men's Polish ski jumping team won bronze at the event in 2013 and 2015. (rg)
