The deal “will allow the Polish Olympic Committee to create the best conditions” for Polish athletes to prepare for the Winter Olympic Games in PyeongChang, South Korea, in 2018 and for the Tokyo Olympics in Japan in 2020, the committee said in a statement.

It did not reveal the value of the deal.

PKN Orlen supported Polish athletes in the Olympic Games in Turin (2006), Vancouver (2010), London (2012) and Rio de Janeiro (2016).

“We are convinced that by supporting Polish Olympians we are building national pride and motivating Poles to actively take part in sport,” said PKN chief Wojciech Jasiński, quoted in the statement.
