The plans include setting up a new Polish Anti-Doping Agency which will work closely with police and border guards.
Sports Minister Witold Bańka said he hoped that the bill would soon be approved by the Senate, Poland’s upper house, and come into force by June at the latest.
"The new agency will significantly increase the number of doping controls,” Bańka said.
Bańka has previously said the Polish Anti-Doping Agency would be equipped with new powers, “allowing it to fight doping even more effectively.”
Poland was in 13th place internationally in terms of violations of anti-doping rules in 2015, according to a recent report on drugs offences in global sport.
Last year, Polish weightlifters Adrian and Tomasz Zieliński were sent home from the Rio Olympics after returning positive drug tests, though both men denied doping.
