Silver and bronze for Polish relay teams in Nassau

Poles have won silver and bronze medals at the IAAF World Relays championships in Nassau, the capital of the Bahamas.

The Polish women’s squad came second behind the Americans in the 4x400m, while the Polish men’s team took bronze in the 4x800m behind the US and Kenya.
The eight best teams in the 4x100m and the 4x400m competitions won the right to compete in the August world championships in London. Among them was the Polish women's 4x400 m squad.
Poland came fourth in the final classification of the two-day IAAF World Relays event, behind the US, Jamaica and Australia.
