Athletics: Success for Poland’s Paweł Fajdek

Poland’s Paweł Fajdek has won the hammer throw at a meet in the Finnish city of Turku with a throw of 82.40 m - the best result this season in the world.

His countryman Wojciech Nowicki came second with a throw of 76.71 m.
Five Poles won podium places at the meeting in Finland on Tuesday.
Sofia Ennaoui came second in the 800 metres and Patryk Dobek was runner-up in the 400 metres hurdles.
Ewa Swoboda was third in the 100 metres sprint.
