Cycling: Poland’s Kwiatkowski extends contract with Team Sky

Michał Kwiatkowski, one of Poland’s top cyclists, has extended his contract with Team Sky until 2020, the British group said.

The 27-year-old joined Sky – one of the world’s best cycling teams – in 2016.
Kwiatkowski, who claimed the world road race champion title in 2014, said: "I'm really happy to be able to renew my contract for three years.”
He added: “I’ve had great support from the team in the last two seasons. I've been here for a year and a half, but I feel like I've been around for a long time. This is exactly what I need: to feel support, to be part of a family.”
