Tennis: Poland’s Łukasz Kubot into Cincinnati quarterfinals

Poland’s Łukasz Kubot and his Brazilian partner Marcelo Melo have made it through to the doubles quarterfinals of the ATP tennis tournament in the US city of Cincinnati.

In the second round, the pair beat Argentina’s Diego Schwartzman and Germany’s Mischa Zverev 7:5, 6:2.
Kubot and Melo will now play the winners of a match between India’s Rohan Bopanna and Croatia’s Ivan Dodig and Colombia’s Juan Sebastian Cabal and Italy's Fabio Fognini.
Kubot and Melo last month won the men’s doubles at the Wimbledon Grand Slam tournament in London.
