Poland’s Gortat marks 10 years since NBA debut

Poland’s Marcin Gortat on Thursday marked 10 years since his first NBA league game.

He scored two points and committed one foul in his debut, which saw his Orlando Magic beating the New York Knicks 118:92.
Gortat played for just 141 seconds.
He is the third basketball player born in Poland to play in the NBA, widely considered the best league in the world.
His current five-year contract with the Washington Wizards, worth USD 60 million, expires at the end of the 2018/19 season.
The Washington Wizards on Wednesday lost 101:109 at home to the Golden State Warriors. Gortat played for 14 minutes and scored two points.
