Women’s volleyball: Poland beaten by Dominican Republic

The Polish women’s national volleyball team has been beaten 1-3 by the Dominican Republic in its last match in the Nations League tournament.

The 18:25, 25:16, 21:25, 20:25 defeat on Thursday in the southwestern Polish city of Wałbrzych ended a winning streak which saw the Poles notching up six victories in a row.
Poland finished eighth in the overall table, with eight wins and seven defeats.
The women's Volleyball Nations League final will be held in China on July 1.
