Poland beats Haiti, advances to amputee World Cup quarterfinals

Poland has triumphed over Haiti 2-1 and advanced to the quarterfinals in the amputee football World Cup tournament in Mexico.

Poland will next face off against either Italy or Angola.
In the group round, Poland beat Columbia and Costa Rica, 1-0 both times, and lost two goals to nil to Japan.
Poland came fourth in the previous tournament in 2014. (vb)
