Rising Polish football star Krzysztof Piątek has signed a contract with Italian giants AC Milan until 2023.

He has been sold by Genoa for EUR 35 million, Polish news agency PAP reported, citing what it described as "unofficial information."
The agency added that such a sum would make Piątek the most expensive Polish player in history.
PAP cited the Polish 23-year-old as saying he had never expected to play for a powerhouse like Milan.
He added that he hoped to achieve “something great.”
Piątek, who plays for the Poland national team, has sparkled in his first season in Italy’s top Serie A league.
