Ski jumping: Poland’s Stoch second in Sapporo

Polish ski jumper Kamil Stoch has won second place in Sapporo, the first competition of the World Cup circuit.

The two-time world champion soared 148,5m in his second jump, beating the Okuyarama hill’s record by 4.5m. He scored a total of 260.3 points.

Austria’s Stefan Kraft came first, with points 270.1. Norway’s Robert Johansson came third, with 256.7 points.

Poland’s Piotr Żyła came 11th in the competition, Dawid Kubacki 15th and Stefan Hula 27th.
