A letter of intent has been signed for the construction of a concert hall for Poland’s leading orchestra, which has remained homeless since its foundation in 1984.

Michał Kubicki reports, with comments from the orchestra’s Artistic and Managing Directors Krzysztof Penderecki and Janusz Marynowski and the Austrian architect Thomas Pucher.

Sinfonia Varsovia, whose current Music Director is the famous French conductor Marc Minkowski, worked for many years under Yehudi Menuhin as its Principal Conductor.
