  • Waving the baton at Warsaw's Chopin fest... Michał Kubicki interviews conductor Michał Dworzyński
We hear from Polish conductor Michał Dworzyński, who conducted the Polish Radio Symphony Orchestra in a programme including works by two nineteenth-century Polish composers at the ongoing Chopin and his Europe festival.

The Chopin and his Europe Festival – which is on in Warsaw till the end of the week – has brought together many household names, if only to mention the pianist Martha Argerich, and many up-and-coming musicians who started their international career only recently.

For the Polish conductor Michal Dworzynski, the top accolade at the Donatella Flick competition in London six years ago marked the beginning of an impressive career. After two years in London and engagements with orchestras in the UK, he is now based in Berlin, working regularly with numerous ensembles in many countries, in Europe and beyond.
