Poland and Slovakia will provide 'friendly competition' for the rest of the candidates of the 2022 Winter Games candidates says Vice-president of International Olympic Committee.

Vice-president of the International Olympic Committee, Thomas Bach paid a visit to Warsaw over the weekend where he signed another long-term cooperation agreement between the Polish and German Sport Federations.
Other possible candidate to host the Winter Games are St. Moritz, Oslo, Barcelona, Nice and Lviv in Europe; as well as Asian bids from Beijing and Almaty in Kazakhstan. The host of the 2022 Winter Games will be chosen in Kuala Lumpur in 2015.
