As Slawek Szefs reports, there are some nine hundred firms with Danish capital operating in Poland. Many of them can boast of employing innovative solutions of the highest world caliber.

President Bronislaw Komorowski said a golden era awaits Polish-Danish economic relations, especially in branches which offer promising future opportunities as well as those which already scored considerable success and have passed the test of time.

“Let us not forget about traditional areas such as coal energy generation because both Polish and Danish energy mixes stand to benefit from cooperation in developing modern coal-related technologies,” noted Poland’s head of state.

Prince Frederik voiced hope for further development of these ties, especially in the form of new contracts to be signed by the group of over sixty Danish businessmen accompanying their future monarch on his trip to Poland.

“The companies represent […] energy and environment, health and rehabilitation, design and fashion, food production and defense,” Prince Frederik told businessmen gathered at the Copernicus Science Center, Monday.
