“In our flagship project, in Northern Lebanon on the Syrian border, we take care of over 9000 Syrian refugees, over 2000 families, in securing their shelter,” Wilk says, adding that the Centre’s rapid response teams are capable of being deployed from Poland to natural disaster areas within 24 hours.

Wilk also tells our reporter Michal Kubicki that one of the aims of World Humanitarian Day is to highlight that there is a continuing threat to humanitarian workers worldwide.
