The Polish community in Scotland is not united on whether their adopted country should be part of the UK, or not.

"I would like us to remain as part of the UK because I'm not certain the Scots are ready to make the decision. I think we'll be better off if London keeps its rule,” one of the Polish voters told Polish Radio's reporter in Edinburgh, as nearly four million Scotish residence go to the polls on Thursday to take part in the historic referendum.

“I'm voting YES, because I think Scotland deserves to be a separate state,” said another, while her disagreeing friend added: “In my opinion it is rather better to unite, like in the case of the EU."
